Speed Watch Appeal
We are looking to introduce a Community Speed watch Scheme for the Rixton with Glazebrook area. For this scheme to be successful we require residents who are willing to volunteer to be trained in the use of the speed detection equipment to monitor vehicle speeds in specific locations approved by our Road Policing Unit. Any residents in the Rixton with Glazebrook area who are prepared to volunteer their time to the scheme should provide their details to Warrington East NPT, either by

Provided we receive sufficient interest from volunteers the next stage will be to apply for funding to purchase the equipment needed for the scheme to operate, which will be recommended by our Road Policing Unit.
If you mail/phone to volunteer, our local PCSO, Bethan Roberts, will get in touch with you to discuss your involvement further. Please note that although Chapel Lane is of major concern, for reasons of Health and Safety it is not possible to carry out speed detection activity on that road. Hope you can join the scheme.
